Glynnis Zieman, MD is a traumatic brain injury and sports neurologist at Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Zieman’s research interests include traumatic brain injury in domestic violence victims and treatment of persistent posttraumatic headache. Dr. Zieman received her medical degree from the University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Medicine. She completed her adult neurology residency, as well as Neuro Oncology and Traumatic Brain Injury and Sports Neurology fellowships at Barrow Neurological Institute. She is currently a faculty physician in the department of neurology at Barrow Brain Injury and Concussion Center, provides sideline neurological assessment coverage for National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I level soccer and football and is an Unaffiliated Neurotrauma Consultant for the National Football League. In her free time, Dr. Zieman enjoys running marathons and hiking with her husband, Morgan.
