ABOUT THE CONGRESS LOCATION

The 12th World Congress on Brain Injury will be held in the culturally vibrant and exciting city of New Orleans

New Orleans is often called The Big Easy due to its laid-back attitude and the easy-going nature of the musicians and other bohemian residents of the city. New Orleans is known for its jazz music, cultural attractions, diverse communities, and of course its world-famous Cajun cuisine. In New Orleans the good times are perpetually rolling down Bourbon Street with nightlife that never stops, but there is much more to see than just the historic French Quarter — tour the elegant Garden District, meet the colorful characters of Frenchmen Street or ride a steamboat on the mighty Mississippi. You can experience the city’s supernatural vibe at the Voodoo Museum by taking a guided ghost or vampire tour through taverns, alleyways, and historic cemeteries.

The New Orleans Sheraton Hotel is right in the middle of the action, only steps away from the famous French Quarter. The hotel is also perfectly situated on the main streetcar line that will whisk you back in time to the well preserved antebellum mansions and pristine gardens of the Garden District.

We look forward to seeing you in The Big Easy!
