Biography
Dr. Nada Andelic (MD, PhD) is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a senior researcher at the Oslo University Hospital and University of Oslo. Her main research areas are epidemiology and risk factors of traumatic brain injury (TBI), short and long-term functional outcomes and quality of life following TBI, health-care services, rehabilitation trajectories and complex interventions, and cost-effectiveness of rehabilitation. She is the head of Research and Development at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a PI/co-PI in several large TBI studies, with 5 million Euros in competitive research funds. She has numerous peer-reviewed research publications including special issues of the Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine (JRM) and Behavioural Neurology. She serves as peer reviewer for a number of international journals and Research Granting Agencies worldwide.
